Marcel Library PMB 2336 1 Jackson Creek Road Clancy, MT 59634 Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Fellow Montanans, On July 20, 2015 and after 27 years as a member of St. Peter's Hospital medical staff, I will be leaving St. Peter's to allow more time to engage with other interests and new challenges (see below). As a long-time member of the St. Peter's Hospital medical staff, I have had the privilege of working side-by-side with many excellent and dedicated physicians, nurses, and hospital support staff. Over these years one of the physicians with whom I worked closely at St. Peter's was Dr. Jesse A. Marcel, Jr. who served as an ENT physician/surgeon in the Helena community for almost 2 decades before leaving St. Peter's to engage in many additional years of service as a physician at Fort Harrison VA Hospital. Not only did Dr. Marcel serve the Helena community and our nation's Veterans as an ENT surgeon, but he also served our country as a Flight Surgeon and a military helicopter pilot, attaining the rank of Colonel in Montana's Army National Guard. At age 65, Dr. Marcel volunteered to serve 2 consecutive tours of duty during our nation's conflict in Iraq. He passed away in August of 2013 and, at that time, I had known him for 25 years. Dr. Marcel and I always shared a common interest and, due to that shared interest, we became close friends. Our shared interest had to do with the ongoing phenomenon of the UFO. As many of you know, Dr. Marcel was an 11 year old boy when his father, Major Jesse Marcel, Sr., the Chief Intelligence Officer of the 509th Bombardment Group, Very Heavy (that in 1947 was the only nuclear weapons-armed military squadron in the world), brought to the Marcel home an assortment of materials that he personally recovered from what he determined was a crashed “flying saucer” that was “not of this world”. Although only 11 years old at the time of the Roswell event, Dr. Marcel always remembered that night, and he was always willing to discuss that event with anyone who had an interest in that event, or in the UFO subject. Over the years I engaged in many discussions with Dr. Marcel about “The Roswell Incident” in particular, and about the subject of UFOs in general. It was always Dr. Marcel's contention that the Roswell event did, in fact, involve our U.S. Military's recovery of a crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft, and that his father was ordered to participate in an (almost) immediate and still ongoing cover-up of the true nature of that event. It was 31 years after that event, in 1978, before the world finally heard the truth about what had actually happened at Roswell. At that time Dr. Marcel's father, prompted by UFO researcher Stanton Friedman, went public with his story about the recovery of an ET spacecraft near Roswell in July, 1947. The stories of both Dr. Marcel and his father, revealing what had actually happened during The Roswell Incident never changed, right up until the day they died. Their stories have since been corroborated by many other eyewitnesses who were also there (see Witness to Roswell by Carey and Schmitt). Try to imagine a past time when, in 1492, a few Native Americans, perhaps while out hunting, happened upon the sight of the newly arrived sailing ships of Christopher Columbus, anchored out in a bay. We can be certain that, upon witnessing that sight from the shoreline, they felt quite confused about just what they were seeing. We can be sure that they reported their sighting of those “Unidentified Floating Objects” to other members of their village. Perhaps they found themselves at a loss for words to describe exactly what they had witnessed. Certainly no member of their village had ever seen anything like what they described, if their language even had the words to convey the nature of what they had seen. Perhaps their report was initially met with a great deal of skepticism, and possibly even derision, from other members of their village in reaction to their “wild” description of Columbus's ships. It is worth pointing out here that, unlike the technologically advanced UFOs that many people report seeing in our skies today (see the National UFO Reporting Center website at http://www.nuforc.org averaging 400-500 sighting reports, some quite remarkable, monthly), the ships of Columbus were slow, lumbering vessels, and their presence in the bay could be easily verified by any one of the village skeptics. Certainly, those Native Americans could not have envisioned or predicted the tidal wave of dramatic and sweeping changes that would soon come to their culture and to their way of life as a result of their First Contact with those European explorers. When orchestrated by humans, First Contacts around the world have historically been associated with violence, subjugation, social upheaval, and profound cultural changes. Indigenous peoples experiencing First Contact were never prepared for what would soon come about as a result of the motivations and the actions of their new “visitors”'. It's no wonder that, given our own nation's history, many today are loathe to admit that we are currently experiencing our own First Contact. Over the decades many skeptics around the world have scoffed at Dr. Marcel's story, but I do not. After knowing him as I did for so many years, of two things I am 100% certain: he was never “kidding” about what he said happened at Roswell, and he was not a liar. After numerous discussions about the Roswell event with Dr. Marcel over those many years, I am quite certain of my conviction that Dr. Marcel was, all along, telling the world the truth. To state that the implications of his revelation are far-reaching is an understatement. Based upon what I have learned about the UFO phenomenon, I feel with some degree of certainty that there exists no facet of our present-day civilization that will remain unchanged when we reach the tipping point of UFO Disclosure and as First Contact moves toward Open Contact with these visitors. I have become convinced that the process of Disclosure of the UFO/ET reality is in progress, it is being carefully orchestrated, primarily by the extraterrestrial visitors themselves, and, in my opinion, we are presently nearing that tipping point. I make no claims regarding who these beings are, where they come from, how they are arriving here, or why they are persisting in a deliberate and methodical project to make their existence and their presence here known to us. I can only state that my best estimate is that they are real, they are here, and we can presume that one day, and I think relatively soon, we are all going to know how it felt to be a Native American back when Christopher Columbus arrived on our nation's shores. However, in this case, I believe we have reasons to be optimistic about our future. In addition to Dr. Marcel, other individuals of great personal accomplishment and high credibility continue to come forward with new information that supports Dr. Marcel's claim. Mercury astronaut Gordon Cooper and Apollo XIV astronaut Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the moon, are but two examples of many such individuals (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tKWElDHhY4). Another example would be the Honorable Paul Hellyer, who authored the book The Money Mafia that accompanies this letter. That perhaps a majority of our population still remain skeptical about Dr. Marcel's account speaks loudly for the incredible effectiveness of the counter-intelligence measures that were long ago endorsed by the 1953 “Robertson Panel” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robertson_Panel), composed of a group of leading scientists and military leaders of that time who were called upon to render their professional opinions and recommendations in the formulation of our nation's long-term policies regarding the UFO. It is quite clear that those recommended policies remain in effect up through the present day: “That the national security agencies take immediate steps to strip the Unidentified Flying Objects of the special status they have been given and the aura of mystery they have unfortunately acquired.” This assessment is supported by the Obama administration's official White House response to a 2011 “We The People” petition submitted by UFO Disclosure activist Steven Bassett through the whitehouse.gov website (see https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/response/searching-et-no-evidence-yet). Very recently, Senior White House Adviser John Podesta, a long time proponent of UFO Disclosure, submitted this interesting “tweet”: “Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again, not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files.” (see https://www.earthfiles.com/news.phpID=2282&category=Science). It is relevant that the hashtag used by Podesta,“#disclosure”, has also been recently used to create a “tweetstorm” directed at selected committee members of Congress, all of whom have now received a large collection of DVDs from Steven Bassett documenting the witness testimony presented during the Citizens Hearing On Disclosure that took place at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. April 29 – May 3, 2013 ((http://www.citizenhearing.org/index.html). Dr. Marcel was one of the 40 very credible witnesses who presented his testimony during those hearings. Invited by Dr. Marcel to attend this event with him, I had the good fortune of being present at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, and I believe it will eventually come to be regarded as a truly historic event. If Dr. Marcel's and his father's statements are true, and if extraterrestrial beings have been and are continuing to engage in limited contact with Earth and its citizens as current evidence strongly suggests, should this concern you? In my opinion this should and will soon concern all of us. Over a period of at least 6 decades these visitors have provided to us ample evidence of their real existence (for those who will take time to look into this phenomenon) and of their apparent desire to make their presence here known to us (see http://www.thephoenixlights.net/ as one example) . The human race has been extended a fair chance to realize and to acknowledge this reality, and to initiate attempts to make appropriate, reciprocal and peaceful First Contact with these visitors. We would have been doing this, appropriately through our government, or perhaps through the United Nations, if our own government had not insisted, and continued insisting, that none of what Dr. Marcel (and now many others) have told us is true. I have no opinion regarding what might be these visitors longer-term intentions, but I am, after considering the evidence, certain that they are here, they appear to be persisting in an effort to initiate a non-threatening First Contact with the human race, and we can presume that they are, rather courteously and with a great deal of patience, waiting for that appropriate response from humanity. Under present circumstances, it seems quite unlikely that they are going to receive that appropriate response from our government/military- industrial complex, and the evidence to date bears this out. Keep in mind that this has all been happening while these visitors continue to observe from a distance the ongoing barbarism of mankind's endless wars, hundreds of billions of dollars appropriated annually to promote additional militarism, the greed of a tiny minority but very wealthy “elite” class that shows little to no concern for the starvation, disease, and crippling poverty that grips huge swaths of humanity, our continued decimation of Earth's biosphere (Hiroshima, Nagasaki, thousands of underground and atmospheric nuclear tests, 3 Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima, the BP Gulf oil spill, the Exxon Valdez debacle (and many other major oil spills), the environmentally disastrous tar-sands for oil project, the world-wide ongoing eradication of Earth's rainforests, global climate change, the ongoing devastation of Earth's ocean's fisheries, coral reefs etc.), and our colossal expenditures to develop and further refine nuclear weapons of mass destruction that today could literally annihilate every living creature on this planet, many times over. If you read Eric Schlosser's book, Command and Control: Nuclear Weapons, the Damascus Accident, and the Illusion of Safety, you will better understand why these visitors have shown such a keen interest in our bloated stockpiles of these terrible instruments of destruction. With regard to this planet Earth, it is fair to state that “we act like we own the place”. It seems probable that a more ancient and therefore more advanced civilization will have legitimate objections to mankind's clear declaration that we have the right to hold this entire planet 's biosphere hostage while nations threaten nations with these incredibly destructive weapons. We must begin to seriously consider just how long one or more obviously advanced species that has arrived here and has been attempting to make First Contact, apparently in a way that will not be too disruptive to our nascent, relatively primitive, and still-fragile civilization, is going to continue to observe all of this going on, patiently waiting for a reciprocal and appropriate acknowledgment of their presence here, before resorting to their “Plan B”. What might their “Plan B” be? I, for one, do not want to learn about their “Plan B”. Humanity needs to acknowledge and engage with what is apparently “Plan A”, and sooner rather than later, because by now it has become clear that these visitors are not going away. Their arrival and persistent presence here has marked a crossroads in the evolution of human civilization, and the choices we make at this juncture may and I believe will have extremely important implications for mankind's future. The ball is in our court. So far we can count ourselves fortunate that humanity's own First Contact with these extraterrestrial beings, one orchestrated by them, appears to be unfolding in a much more enlightened, peaceful, and orderly fashion than that inflicted on Native Americans by Europeans after the landing of Christopher Columbus. The only missing ingredient, it seems, is our own willing participation. Since Roswell, our First Contact is occurring in relative slow motion, over decades, through what appears to be a persistent program of measured exposure. As but one example of this, although several well-documented incidents involving the destruction of the guidance systems of entire flights (10) of U.S. Minuteman nuclear missiles while still in their launching silos have occurred in the presence of UFOs right here in Montana in the late 1960s (see Robert Hastings' book, UFOs and Nukes, Helena author Joan Bird's Montana UFOs and Extraterrestrials, and/or Robert Salas' Faded Giant), no ensuing hostile action followed these events. Amazingly, our world's first video capture of UFOs occurred right over Great Falls, Montana, on August 15, 1950. This video was captured by the Great Falls Selectrics baseball team's manager Nick Mariana. In that video, 2 UFOs are seen to quickly pass by a water tower in Great Falls, silently and peacefully. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariana_UFO_incident) Humanity, for better or for worse, has evolved to become the de facto stewards of planet Earth. Our collective actions and our decisions have and will play a major role in determining whether or not Earth's biosphere will remain hospitable for sustaining our own lives and the lives of countless other species that have co-evolved here with us over millions of years. That we are presently failing in our task as the stewards of Earth is beyond debate – the facts speak for themselves. A large measure of that failure is rooted in our continuing reliance on and support of the multi-trillion dollar fossil fuel industry to produce the energy we require. If our failure as stewards of Earth is obvious to many of us, we can only presume that it is far more obvious to our extraterrestrial visitors. Their measured approach to our civilization, so far pacific if not benevolent, does not justify nor does it recommend our continued inaction with regard to the ongoing UFO phenomenon - our First Contact. We should not presume or expect that these beings are here with the intent to “save us from ourselves”. Citizen complacency is no longer an appropriate nor an advisable response to what is happening, and we are not getting the truth about what is happening from the sources upon which we have habitually (but naively) relied. If we truly desire to improve in our important role as the de facto stewards of this planet, if we desire to maintain a free, open, and democratic society, and if we hope to have our children grow up on a planet that still has clean water to drink, clean air to breathe, and has not been completely decimated by our continued but forced “addiction” to fossil fuels, then there are obvious and important questions we must begin to insist be answered:
We should all find it curious and even alarming that none of us have heard reports of these and many other dramatic UFO-related events coming to us through our mainstream media, the agencies that we depend upon to create for us, on a day-to-day basis, an accurate consensus reality. If we do in fact have freedom of the press in our country, then how can this be? I have come to understand that the UFO, long ago and unbeknownst to the vast majority of U.S. Citizens, became a major driver in the precepts of U.S. domestic policy. Thus, at least in part due to the UFO, we now find ourselves as citizens of what continues to evolve toward becoming a “national security state”, and one that comes with its own contrived reality. It is not a coincidence that the Central Intelligence Agency had its beginning in 1947 - the very same year the Roswell event took place! We now know that Dr. Marcel's experience was not a one-off, singular flirtation between mankind and an extraterrestrial intelligence. We were informed of this fact through the 2013 Citizen Hearing on Disclosure. Following Roswell, there have been many other major UFO/ ET related events that are still ongoing, yet the reporting of those events appears to have been curtailed through our mainstream media. Keeping a lid on the news of those events has required the development and the implementation of a national security apparatus with a scope and penetration that is unprecedented in the history of the human race. American taxpayers have not only been its financiers, but we have also been its target as well. The closure of this chapter of my life as a St. Peter's Hospital anesthesiologist will not be a segue into retirement. In March of 2013 I inaugurated the Jesse A. Marcel Library (JAML) (http://www.jaml.org) near Helena, named in honor of both Dr. Marcel and his father (Major Jesse A. Marcel, Sr.). These men had the courage and the integrity to step forward and inform our world that, with the July, 1947 “Roswell Incident”, mankind's age-old question, “Are We Alone?”, has been definitively answered! Despite our government's ongoing policies of denial, derision, and ridicule, and despite the vehement attacks of debunkers, both of these men stood their ground and their stories never changed. It is appropriate to honor both of these men in this way. That the JAML exists serves as a clear public statement that a growing number of citizens understand and acknowledge that the UFO phenomenon is real, that the deliberately engineered, status quo view of the UFO as a non-issue is inappropriate and unacceptable, and that the UFO phenomenon will prove to be very important to mankind's future. As libraries do, the JAML will collect and disseminate good information, as such becomes available, in an attempt to educate and thereby lead citizens toward a better understanding and appreciation of the real importance of the UFO phenomenon. The goal is to help the JAML become a self-sustaining public library, eventually to be located within the city limits of Helena (as funding allows), where citizens can access good information, learn about, and discuss the UFO phenomenon and its fascinating implications. The JAML will strive to provide a unique environment to learn about the UFO and its implications that is entirely devoid of denial, derision, and ridicule. At the JAML, the time for those policies is regarded as over. With this letter I have also provided a book, The Money Mafia, written by the Honorable Paul T. Hellyer. Mr. Hellyer is currently 90 years old, as sharp as a tack, educated in economics, and he served as a cabinet-level Minister of Defense of Canada in the early 1960s. Mr. Hellyer's effort brings a unique perspective toward our better understanding of the issues driving international economic and geo-political affairs, and the roll that the UFO subtext has played in those affairs over many decades. I don’t know if this is based on real story. But if it is, then I am sure that readers will have something to learn from this. Though I believe that it is very technical, there were terms that will help you understand it even more. I noticed that the article was mostly about legal terms. This is not a suppose for me anymore since you have always been creating articles about this. I just hope that more and more readers will have the eagerness to understand this. 4/19/2020 01:27:49 am
Honestly, everything that is written by Honorable Paul T. Hellyer is good. That’s why we should all try to appreciate his works. I have read several books and article that he wrote and I am always impressed with the writing capacity of this man. If you are still doubting his capacity, I guess it would be good to always to start until you see his greatness! Through that way, you will realize how great of a writer he is and he needs to be followed. Leave a Reply. |
