Helena Author Joan Bird at the JAML

Yesterday evening Helena authorJoan Bird presented a lecture at the JAML which was a dress rehearsal for an upcoming lecture that she will present at the International UFO Congress next week on Wednesday, February 18 at 14:30. Approximately 50 people attended Joan's lecture at the JAML in which she reviewed for us the content of her book Montana UFOs and Extraterrestrials. Joan's lecture, which covered many of the important UFO events which have occurred over the past decades in Montana, was excellent and well received. It was clear that Joan had done a great deal of research to acquire little-known details about some of the people and events  mentioned in her book, such as Nick Mariana who shot the world's first video of UFOs over Great Falls, MT in the early 1950's. At left is a photo taken during Joan's lecture. Recent improvements in the A/V system at the JAML proved to be very worthwhile as all were able to hear and to see Joan's lecture and slides. Our thanks to Joan for providing us with an interesting and informative lecture about the surprising number of important UFO events which have occurred right here in Montana! If you can, do try to attend Joan's lecture at the 2015 Intn'l UFO Congress at Ft. McDowell, AZ. It will be well worth your time!
