12/12/14: On Tuesday evening, Dec.9, a gentleman (Tom) came to the JAML and described his and his high-school age son’s sighting of 2 groups of reddish-orange spheres that they saw from their truck as they were heading West on Euclid Ave. near the FWP Wildlife Recovery Center. Their sighting occurred about 2 weeks ago. Tom seemed to be a sincere, honest, and reliable witness. The two were driving about 45-50 MPH at approximately 18:30. It was dark. The spheres were estimated to be about 1/4 mile from their truck, 400 feet in the air, and located approximately over Spring Meadow Lake. The 2 separate sets of 4 spheres that suddenly appeared (it sounded like they just “popped into view”) were bright, clearly visible, moved along together in formation very briefly, and then sped away toward the NW, “like tracer bullets”, all the while remaining in tight formation. Neither Tom nor his son heard an sounds associated with their sighting, but their truck windows were rolled up. The 2 sightings lasted only seconds each. Each set was seen by both witnesses. Tom did not seem able to estimate their size. Last night, Thursday evening, Dec 11, I drove by that same area at 19:00 hours and I could not identify any lights fitting Tom’s experience/description. I asked Tom if he would allow me to video-record his testimony, but he appeared to be uncomfortable with that idea. Tom was encouraged to report his sighting to NUFORC and to talk with others about his experience.
Tom was accompanied by an older gentleman who described his late 1970's sighting of a very large, bright red, spherical object "the size of a full moon" which glided over the mountains to the North of the Missouri River bridge near Toston, MT. He felt certain that the object was a UFO. The JAML is fulfilling its purpose as a place for citizens to gather who have important information to share with others concerning the UFO phenomenon. So, to whoever belongs to those “sphere’s” that Tom and his son witnessed: You did not stop by and allow the JAML’s cameras to record your craft/presence, despite your obviously being nearby the JAML in the Helena area. Why not? We are here, we are trying to learn more about you, we mean you no harm, our intentions are good, and we believe that your presence here with us is important. While the JAML’s cameras have captured a few images of “UFOs” that may belong to you, our cameras have not captured a definitive image of you or your craft – one that would be completely convincing to the public. We know that you are here and we are fairly certain that you are aware of this ongoing effort to communicate with you so, please, stop by the JAML, park yourselves in front of our cameras, and “throw us a bone”. It is time for this to happen, it needs to happen, and only you can make it happen. Please make it so!
